Great piece - very dramatic composition - love the way the eye is drawn into the image by the fist holding the staff and then whips out through the dragons tail.

I'd have cropped a bit from left and widen right. Dramatic indeed. Try to restrain yourself from the black..Nice job,I like the atmosphere

This painting makes me wonder; is that a large man, or a small dragon?

In any case, the painting is indeed nice. The way you lead the eye, like Traff said, is good, as well as the guy's design. You also placed the camera in a nice angle, so we see the guy from below. That makes him look larger and more powerful and serious. But I would like to see some more of the sky abow his head, so he doesn't get too cramped towards the frame. Also, try to use a little less pure black for the shadows, and use dark colours instead. Blue or purple are examples of dark colours that are nice for such a use. Using only black works well, but using colours add more depth and looks more realistic.

Either that man is really big or thats a small dragon, I think a lil more contrast would help this image.

the depth of shadow in the man is interesting considering it is such a bright day. Also I think both the pose of the character and the composition would be helped if the sword/staff angled in towards his leg rather than towards the corner of the painting. Great character design.
